Susan G. Stanek, 72, of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA.

She was predeceased by her husband John Stanek; son, John Michael Stanek Jr.; parents George & Betty Cavanaugh; sister Virginia Ayres; and brother Larry Cavanaugh.

Susan is survived by her significant other Rob Frech; siblings Don Cavanaugh, Tim Cavanaugh, Kathy (Ozzie) Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

Sue enjoyed time on her porch, feeding the squirrels. She’d spend hours outside watching the birds, turkeys, and deer all living in harmony. Sue loved her fur babies Buddy and Chickie two of her favorite cats! Sue was a very quiet yet kind soul who loved her family. She was an avid QVC watcher who enjoyed her time alone. She collected Fenton Glass and Coppa DeMonte and had beautiful pieces to share with her family. She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Per Susan’s request there will be no funeral services but the family will hold a private burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
