Thomas Andrew Herring Of Starrucca, PA Thomas Andrew Herring, 60, of Starrucca, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011, at his home after an illness. He was predeceased by his father Howard T. Herring. He is survived by his wife Rita Herring, mother Margaret Mallon and step-mother Cynthia Herring, one daughter and son-in-law; Kireen and Wayne Slocum, a sister and brother-in-law; Barbara and Michael O’Mally, three grandchildren, Courtney Slocum, Shayna Slocum and Malinda Slocum and a great grandson on the way. Thomas was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He loved to fish and his grandchildren were the love of his life. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011, at 8pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave., Susquehanna, PA, with Rev. David Cramer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of The Sacred Heart.
