Thomas James Tinklepaugh Of Susquehanna, PA Thomas Tinklepaugh, 67, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY after a ten year battle with lung cancer. Thomas was born in Susquehanna, PA to the late Tunis C. and Elizabeth (Walton) Tinklepaugh. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years Marla (Glover) Tinklepaugh; son Anthony Tinklepaugh; daughter and son-in-law Amy and Bill Collins; sister and brother-in-law Patricia and G. Kimball Corbin; grandchildren Chloe Tinklepaugh and Memphis and Brooke Collins; brother -in-law Norman Glover, Aunt Emma Keat and many nieces and nephews and cousins. Tom was also blessed with many dear friends. Tom served in the U.S. Army from 1969-71, spending a year in Vietnam as a helicopter mechanic. He was employed by Ilford Imaging prior to becoming ill. He loved cars, drag racing and camping, but Tom’s greatest joys in life were his family and attending the various activities of the lights of his very soul, his grandchildren. Tom attended the United Methodist Church where he always was helping when he could. The family would like to thank Dr. B Patel of Barnes Kasson for his loving care of Tom. Also, Dr. Yalamanchili and all the staff of Broome Oncology as well as all the nurses and doctors who attended to him while he was a patient in Lourdes. No one could ever ask for more loving and compassionate caregivers. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Susquehanna, PA, on Friday, July 22, 2016, at noon with Rev. Vincent Chiaramonte officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Lawrence Cemetery, Great Bend, PA at a later date. The family will receive friends at the First United Methodist Church on Friday, July 22, 2016, from 11 am Noon.
