Timothy David Rought, age 59, born and raised in Deposit, NY passed away on May 17, 2023 in his home with his daughter Amber Rought in Johnson City, NY.

Timothy was predeceased by his mother Christine Rought; father Robert Beavan; brothers Hilton (Rusty) Rought, Rich Rought, Stephen Beavan; sons Timothy Stephen Rought, David Michael Rought & William Frederick Rought.

He is survived by his wife Kimberly (Heaney) Rought; sons John Glenn Bolster, Dillion James Rought, Devin Scott Rought; daughters Amber Lynn Rought, Kristen Lee Bako & Bailey Michelle Rought; sisters Tammy Lanner (Mike Schmitt), Catherine (Randy) Helms & Diana (Bob) Presley; grandchildren Madison, Cameron, Finnigan, Jameson, Raelyn, Bryce, Ashiya, Armani, TJ & Benji.

Tim spent his life raising his children whom he lived every day for. Fishing was one of his favorite hobbies with his friends and his children. He enjoyed working on cars and building anything from log cabins to motors. Family was very important to Tim and he loved every one of his family members with his whole heart. His sense of humor was contagious and his smile lit up any room he entered. He will be missed greatly by his children, sisters and all his friends. Tim fought very hard the last 15 years with COPD. Every day was a victory and tomorrow was only a couple hours away.

A Celebration of Life with be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 1:00pm at The Deposit Men’s Club on Airport Road, Deposit, NY 13754.
