Timothy Truex, 71, of Susquehanna, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY.

He was predeceased by his parents Clair & Maxine (Stanton) Truex, and sisters Margie Burman and Linda Medlar.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Robin Truex; children Cammie & Tommy Groover and Shawn Timothy Truex (Alissa); grandchildren Kierstyn Slocum (Tyler), TJ Slocum, Jillian (Zach) Casterlin, Callie Truex, and Rilynn Groover, great grandchildren Rowan McKee, Elliana Rae Washington, Mia Turbessi; sisters Judy Welch (Richard), Loann Seymour (Ed), and Cherie Conklin; sister-in-law Shelley Levchak (Chuck) and Tracey Haley (George); and many nieces and nephews.

Tim was a devoted husband who cherished his wife, the love of his life for 53 years. A caring father who lived for and loved his children unconditionally, an amazing grandfather who doted on his grandchildren and the best dad in the world to his 3 fur babies.

He loved spending his free time on the golf course and watching nascar races. Tim enjoyed working with his hands, building things and taking care of his home and yard. After traveling for many, many years for work, one of his favorite past times was sitting on his porch with a glass (or a bottle) of wine with his family friends and pups admiring his home and yard. He’s sharing that wine now with his two buddies Carl Mallery and Jeffy Boughton, who he has missed for a long time.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 1pm, at United Methodist Church, 1361 Main St. Susquehanna, PA 18847.

The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday, November 5, 2022 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.
