Todd Steven Smith, 46, of Windsor, NY passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022, at UHS Wilson Hospital in Johnson City, NY surrounded by “his girls” and close family and friends.

He was predeceased by his Grammie Iva Bowen and Grandpa Walt Bowen, Grandfather Jimmy Smith, Pops and Gran, and his buddy Wade Decker #1W.

Todd is survived by his loving wife and high school sweetheart of 29 years Lynn Smith, his girls Cassidy & Jon Launt and Paige Smith, parents Steve Smith and Colleen (Bill) Harrison, siblings Kyle (Lisa) Bolles, Holly Gabriel, Siera Smith, nieces and nephews Damon and Dylan Decker, Isabel and Melina Gabriel, Lyla and Ella Bolles, cousin and best friend Brad Woodmansee, special friends Steven and Mindle Deinhardt, Kurt and Lanee (Nay Nay) Decker, Andrew and Amanda Bosket, Tammy and Roger Newman, Darcy and Jason Fortunato, and many special aunts, uncles, cousins, and coworkers.

Following his graduation from high school, Todd went off to work in the family business. Years later he decided to take the opportunity to advance his career by creating his own business in logging. Todd was immensely proud of the fact that he started and ran his very successful business from the ground up. Todd was a hard-working man, always committed to “his girls”. He would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. He was devoted to loving and supporting his daughters, especially through attending all of their sporting events throughout grade school and college. He adored going on hunting trips, one of the most memorable being one to Canada with his dad and good friends. He was THE big buck killer. Todd also enjoyed taking his daughters along to hunt and camping with friends and family. Although Todd was stubborn beyond description, this man was the definition of love, caring, and working you’re a$$ off. He leaves behind the famous quote: “Where are we?”

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 1pm at West Windsor Fire Station 9, Karla Drive, Windsor, NY 13865.

Family requests that guests wear what Todd would remember them in, how you knew Todd (softball, racing, camping, working, etc.) NO formal attire!!!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to NBT Bank 108 Front St. Deposit NY, payable to Darcy Fortunato on behalf of his daughters.
