Vera L. Halesky

Vera L Halesky Of Thompson, PA Vera Halesky passed away at the age of 95 at Barnes Kasson Hospital on Thursday November 19, 2020. Vera was born in Thompson PA on November 18, 1925 to the late Frank and Leona Snyder. She was predeceased by her husband Tony and son John. Vera is survived by her two loving sons Anthony (Tom) & Cheryl Halesky of Livonia NY, Mark Halesky of Susquehanna PA and daughter in law Connie Bauer of Macungie PA. She has five grandchildren, Sean Halesky, Scott Halesky, Matthew Clinton, Sabrina (Kyle) Halesky and Allyson Halesky. She has several great -grandchildren. Vera was an RN and worked for the late Dr. Shelley and in the maternity ward at Barnes Kasson Hospital in Susquehanna, PA. Vera had many hobbies. She enjoyed being outside and working in her flower beds, painting and quilting to name a few. She was a member of the bag ladies in Starrucca PA. Vera enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Due to the current CDC guidelines a private memorial service will be held on Saturday November 28, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Thompson PA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name can be made to the Thompson United Methodist Church at 586 Main Street, Thompson PA 18465
