Veronica Krall, 92, of Thompson, Pa. passed away Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, NY after an illness.

She was born in Union Dale, Pa to the late Metro & Elizabeth (Guman) Borick.

She was predeceased by her husband John G. Krall, son John M. Krall, Jr., three brothers Peter, Paul, and George Borick, four sisters Mary Howells, Anna Abbrozze, Helen Borick and Elizabeth Flora.

Veronica is survived by son Ken Krall and wife Leslee, Union Dale, Pa., daughter Diane Baird and husband Glenn, Dunedin, Fl.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Starrucca, Pa. until it closed, then St. Martins of Tours in Jackson, Pa. She worked for Matis Lingerie Co.in Oakland, Pa as a seamstress for most of her career, with a short stint at Gentrix in Simpson, Pa.

Veronica or “ Ronnie”,  as everyone called her,  loved to dance the Polka and enjoyed taking care of her home,  which she and her late husband built. She could usually be spotted on a nice day sitting in a lawn chair in her beloved breezeway where she would entertain family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

The Funeral Service will be on Monday, July 31 at 10am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave, Susquehanna, Pa. with Rev. Andrew Amankwaa officiating.

Burial will be in the St. Paul’s Cemetery in Starrucca, Pa.

The family will receive friends at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home on Sunday, July 30th from 3 to 6pm.
