Vickey Valentine, 66, of Lanesboro, PA, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at Regional Hospital in Scranton, PA.

She was predeceased by her parents Frederick William & Lorraine Staerker Jr.; husband Robert Valentine; and brothers-in-law Stephen Whitaker and Charles Pooler and Rick French.

Vickey is survived by her sister and best friend Judy Whitaker; siblings Gary Staerker, Audrey & Bill Wolfe, Linda & Dennis Davis; niece/daughters Teresa Corse, Tina Pooler, and Tara Conklin; great niece and nephew/grandchildren MaHagen Butts and Carl Conklin; dear friends Cathy French and Julie Funk; as well as many nieces, nephews.

Vickey was born on May 19, 1958, in Lanesboro, PA. She attended in Susquehanna Community High School. She met and married the love of her life Robert Valentine who tragically passed in 1992. She lived her entire life in Lanesboro where she helped take care of family members in need. Recently, she was living with her sister Judy who was her best friend and partner. Vickey enjoyed square dancing, bingo, and attending fairs and carnivals with her family. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Noon at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 11am to Noon.

Interment will be in Lanesboro Cemetery, Lanesboro, PA.
