Vincent (Vinny) Apicella, 57, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023 after a long, fought battle with cancer.

Vinny was born on July 30, 1966 at Cross County Hospital in Yonkers, NY.  He was the youngest of Alfonse and Anna Marie Apicella's three children.

Vinny is predeceased by his father Alfonse Apicella and is survived by his mother Anna Marie Apicella, two sisters Theresa Ragosta and Michelle Apicella, his former wife Mandy Apicella, five children Amanda Apicella-Springstead (Joshua), JD Peralta, Anthony Peralta, Timothy Penso and Vincent (Little Vinny) Apicella. He adored his three grandchildren Arianna, Adrien, and Zavier. He will be missed by his nephews and nieces John, Gerard and Brandon Luning, Robert Ragosta, Alexis and Tiffany Ramirez, Anthony, Dylan and Brittany Moschetto.  He also leaves behind his aunt Gerry Campo, many cousins and close friends who have many amazing memories to share.

Vinny was the most amazing father and grandfather.  He was the happiest being surrounded by his family after making Sunday dinners for everyone to enjoy together around the table together.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 2pm at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 78 Second St. Deposit, NY.

The family will receive friends and family at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home on Thursday from 12pm to 2pm.

Burial will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Deposit, NY.
