Willard Sprague, 66, went to be with God at his home on December 19, 2025, at his home in Deposit, NY. He was born March 9, 1959, in Hancock, NY to Willard & Gladys (Spry) Sprague.

He was predeceased in death by his parents and his grandmother Kathrine Spry.

Willard is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Sally; daughters Kimberly (Matt) Dermitt, Linda (Darren) Cook; 6 grandchildren Brianna Cook, Sabrina Dermitt, James Gould and Jakob Gould, Fashion Boyd, Ashland Cook; brothers Jeff (Stacy) and Larry; sister Laura Schriver and many nieces and nephews.

Willard was a stone cutter. He loved the outdoors, including hunting and especially loved fishing with his grandkids who were the love of his life. He was a member of the Deposit Fire Department. He loved playing horseshoes and corn hole with his family. We know he’s with his friends Ken and Tom now. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends.

Per his request there will be no services; a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery will take place in the Spring.
