William Patrick Giangrieco

William P. Giangrieco Of Hallstead, PA       William P. (Bill) Giangrieco our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend passed away after a brief battle with brain cancer on Sunday, July 24, 2016.   Bill was predeceased by his father John Giangrieco, grandparents Nello and Josie Tolomei, Anthony and Anna Giangrieco his niece Rebecca Newman and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his mother Jean Giangrieco; brothers and sisters-in-law John (Ruth) Giangrieco, and Jim (Frida) Giangrieco; niece Beth (Nick) Stoud; nephews Jason (Lisa) Giangrieco and Eric (Gabrielle Wolfe) Giangrieco; niece Shelby Newman; nephew Ryan Giangrieco.   Bill was an employee of United Health Services for 36 years. Bill enjoyed his time spent with family and friends, watching his nieces and nephews in sporting events and 4H, and especially at his second home at Pond’s Marina in Cape Vincent, NY fishing and just relaxing on the porch. He also enjoyed spending time with neighbors Hank and Diana supervising all Hank’s projects in the garage.   Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10am at the Hennessey’s Funeral Home 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.   Interment will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 6 to 8pm and prior to the funeral service.   In lieu of flowers, kindly consider memorial contributions to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Dr., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.   In memory of Bill please take time to relax and sit on the porch with the people you care the most about.
