William F. Leahy

William “Bill” F. Leahy Of Jackson, PA William  "Bill" F. Leahy, of Jackson, Pa formerly of Saddleb Brook, NJ passed away Monday April 2, 2012 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Gertrude A. Leahy (nee. Pike). Loving father of Carolyn Giunta, Daniel Leahy, Theresa Conklin, Eileen Mohan, Robert Leahy, and Patricia Mascnik; grandfather of 19 and great-grandfather of 9; numerous nieces and nephews Bill is predeceased by his brother John and sister Marjorie Woodyshek. Bill proudly served his country during WWII in the US Army and later in the National Guard Reserves. He was a proud member of the VFW, American Legion, the "Road Runners" and the church choir in St. Martin's Church in Jackson, PA. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society, Boy Scouts and Little League in Saddle Brook.   A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 5th at 10am at the St. Martin’s Church in Jackson, PA with Rev. David Cramer officiating. Burial will be held in the St. John’s Cemetery, Susquehanna, PA. Relatives and friends may call at Hennessey Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, Pa, on Wednesday April 4th from 2-4 and 7-9. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Martin’s Church in Jackson, PA.
