Zachary Joe Tyson, 31, of Montrose, PA, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023. Zach was born in Susquehanna, PA, on January 31, 1992, to Frederick and the late Dora Tyson.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Amanda “Mandy” Tyson, his children Layla and Lowell, his parents Frederick Tyson and Brad (Michele) Brookman, his siblings Ashley (Ed) Pompey, Clayton (Leah) Tyson, Kody Tyson, Kayla Tyson, Matthew (Jamie) Tanzini, Ashley (Ryan) Mireider, Mikayla Tanzini, Marceia Tanzini, Renzie Tanzini, his father-in-law James Tanzini, his nieces, nephews, “brother from another mother” Joe Luce, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime friends.

Zach will be remembered by his friends and family for his kind heart, selfless nature, goofy sense of humor, and larger-than-life personality. His last moments mirrored who he was in life, a hero.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at 12:00pm at Hennessey’s Funeral Home, 747 Jackson Ave. Susquehanna, PA.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 11:00am to 12:00pm.
