The New York State Vital Records can assist you in looking for Death Records or ordering more Death Certificates. You can also contact the local Registrar of Vital Statistics in the City, Town or Village the death occurred to get copies.
The PA division of Vital Records can assist you in looking for Death Records or ordering more Death Certificates. In PA, Funeral Directors only have 90 days after a death to be able to receive Death Certificates for a family. After that timeframe the family will need to order through the state.
